Can I ride my Electric Scooter in public?
The regulations around the use of E-Scooters on public roads and footpaths vary. To confirm your local laws before purchasing an E-Scooter, click here.

Are electric scooters allowed on pavements/footpaths?
Please check your local region guidelines about this. It is your responsibility to always ensure you ride safely and be extra cautious around pedestrians! When not in an open and clear space it is better to set your maximum speed to a safe level e.g. 10km/hr.

Can I use the rear fender as a break?
Yes, you sure can! It operates like a traditional scooter, but we recommend using it as an emergency brake only and prioritising the electronic handbrake. Overuse can cause long term damage to the tyre and rear fender.

        Will my E-Scooter come assembled?
Yes! Everything is assembled except for the handlebars, you will need to screw these on yourself. Be mindful they are a reverse screw.

Do I have to wear a helmet?
You should always use a helmet when riding an E-Scooter. Regulations vary between country and region and it is advisable that you investigate your local government road safety pages to see if one is required. Nevertheless, we believe safety comes first and strongly recommend you wear one when operating your E-Scooter.

I hopped on my E-Scooter, pressed the throttle and nothing happened.
It’s important to remember that you will need to push off to start your E-Scooter before pressing the throttle (this is a safety feature). To do this, put one foot on your E-Scooter and push off the ground with your other foot. To gain momentum you may need a couple of pushes to get up to speed before the throttle kicks in.

        Great value

Great little light weight scooter, I love the build quality, portability and style. It is a scooter with a smaller battery than some other scooters it’s competing against so a smaller amount of range is expected. This scooter has a claimed range of 15-20kms at a rider weight of 75kg at 15kmph which I’ve found to be closer to 10kms (i weigh 73kg). The top speed is not quite as advertised it reaches 25kmph according to the display but in reality it’s a gps speed of around 20kmph. Overall the scooter is good value for money (I paid $399nzd) good quality and easy to use but doesn’t quite live up to the range and speed specifications as advertised. Saying this, it does do everything I need it for so I am happy. I wouldn’t recommend this scooter for heavier riders but a great last mile transport option for lighter riders. I haven’t tried it on any (even small) hills but it feels as if it would struggle even with a light weight rider.

Battery will often go down while riding then shoot back up during idle moment, other than that it has been quite useful.

Reveiw for Revo E1 250w Electric scooter

The scooter is nice and good looking but the range it can go is not actually 20km it is 11km with all three modes mixed together. The 25km/h is way slower than the Segway ninebot 25km/h. So I rate this scooter a 6 out of 10

        Impressive scooter for price

bought two scooters and both appear well made and performing well so far. Great quality for the price. Only slight complaint is the locking system for folding is the weak point, Not sure how long this would function and its fussy and clumsy to use. Would not be wanting to own if that was a necessity for use.
